EXTRAORDINARY CONDUCT OF A BOY.

Christchurch, this day. Os January 12ih an Industrial School boy, named Charming, working for Mr Mickle, at the Cnathams, twice attempted to hang him.elf to a tree. The firab time the branch broke and the second time the noose did not tighten. He was cub down and brought before the magistrate, to whom he said he could not put up with the Ida be led. Ke could pub up with the hammering he got. bub he could nob stand the '«jaw." He will ba sent back to Burnham.
