Resolutions were passed yesterday by shareholders authorising tho directora 60 dispose of tbe comoany'. property. SHOOTING STAR. Aba meeting of holders of syndicate shares in this claim, held yesterday in Mr H. Qilfillan'e office, ib waa resolved to form a no-liability company to work the property. The capital was fixed ab £2,000 in 40,000 shares at Is. The following appointments were made:—Directors, Messrs W. Johnson, E. Bell, Jas. Smith, T. Hendersoon, and A. J. Prescotb; legal manager, Mr H. Gilfilian, jun. MIDLAND REEFS. Holders of syndicate shares in the Brighb Smile claim mot yesterday afternoon at) Mr A. P. Home's office and resolved to form a company called tho Midland Reefs to work the property. The capital was fixed ab £3,750, ia 7&,000 shares of Is each, divided aa follows:—35,000 paid, np bo sixpence per share, 25,000 paid up to threepence per share, and 5,000 reserved (nil paid up). Tho following were elected '■ director. :—Messrs R, C. Carr, A. Wright, W. Parkinson, W, Handley, J. Wiseman, and C. B. Stone. Mr A. Park Borne waa appointed legal manager. HINEMOA. A.a meeting of shareholders held yesterday, ab 3 p.m., resolutions were passed authorising the directors to sell the property. MACHINERY FOR NEW ZEALAND. (FROM OUR SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) The New Zealand Exploration Company state bhab Messrs Fraser and Chalmers are extremely busy completing a large number of machines tor New Zealand, including bwo large plants for the Aroha and New Zealand Crown mines. These consist principally of a 214 effective b.p. air compressor, hoisting engine and pump, to be Worked -by compressed air, pipes of every descriotion, Pel ton wheel of unusual dimensions all for the New Zealand Crown Mines, and a 100 effective b.p. air compressor, Pelton wheel, pipes to drive a number of air drills, etc., intended for the long drive ab Aroha. At tbe New Zealand Crown Mines the foundations for bbc above planb and 40 new stamps are in course of erection, and it is expected thab the whole plant, which is a large addition to tbe existing one, will be ab work by bbc middle of nexb year.
