The Il.M.fi. Alaineda, en roi(ts from Sydney to K::ii Fr&ncigco, vraa berthed at Qucen-itroet Wharf shortly after ona o'clock thia afternoon, after an oxesptionatiy fast trip from tho former port. Mr Suttpn, the puraer, to whom we are in-
debted for our files, reports of the (rip as follows :—The Alameda sftiled from Sydney on January 18th, at 5.10 p.m., and arrived in Rangitoto Channel on the 22nd, ab 12 noon, after a passage of three days 16 hours 50min. For 6he first two days had very beary S.\Y. swell, thence fine weather and smooth seas. In continuation of her voyage to San Francisco the mail steamer leaves to-morrow for Samoa and Honolulu.
