It is understood that the Royal Bank is prepared immediately after the close of the year, to pay the second instaimenb of deferred deposits due in July, provided holders ore willing to forego the six months notice to which they are entitled. If this course is pursued British depositors, are willing to accept largely reduced interesb on the balance when bhe next payment ia made, and the Bank will bare paid SO per cent of deferred deposits.
