MASONIC.
The annual installation of officers in connection wibh Lodge Waitemats, 689, E.C., waa held on Dec. 21 ab the Freemasons Hall, Princes-street. The installation ceremony waß pertormed by Bro. G. H. Foster. The following officers were installed :— W.M., Brother C. D. Grey : S.W., Brother A. Tapper ; J.W., Brother R. Maxwell ; Treasurer, Brother Fen ton ; Secretary, Brother H. G. Wade; D.C., Brother VV. George ; S.D., Brother A. H. Grigg ; J.D., Brother C. Jenkins; 1.G., Brother Hull ; Steward, Brother Mollvnney; Tyler, Brother Tonge. Brother Foster, the retiring W.M., was presented wibh a Past Master's jewel by the brethren of the lodge as a mark of esteem.
Tho annual installation of the R.W. Mnster and officers of Lodge Ponsonby, 70S, S.C., took place on Doc. 4, a large number of brethren being presenb :—R.W.M., Bro. A. Campbell; 1.P.M., Bro. W. Handley; Dop. M., Bro. G. Baddiley; Sub M., Bro. M.J. Bennett; Senr. Warden, Bro. VV. Sansbury ; Junr. Warden, Bro. J. McLeod; Secretary, Bro. F. Rundio; Treasurer, Bro. W. Frickor; Bible Bearer, Bro. G. Kronfeld ; Director of Ceremonies, Bro. VV. Anderson ; Senr. Deacon, Bro. G. Thompson ; Junr. Deacon.Bro. H. Brewer; Inner Guard, Br. A. Williamson ; Senr. Steward, Bro. C. Ponsford ; J unr. Stewards, Bros. A. Ellisdon, E. Nordon ; Tyler, Bro. J. Cleal. Ab the conclusion of the ceremony, Bro. Handley was presented by the biethorn oi the Lodge with a handsome Paeb Master's Jewel, to mark the esteem in which he was held. Bro. Hundley performed the duties of Installing Master.
