The Auckland Ladies' Liedsrkranz are announced to give a coacorb in tho City Hull fchis evening;, and solos are promised from Misß May Whifco, Miss R. Tole, Aliases Patorson, Mrs Carter. Mra Eady, Mr Tracey Hall, Mons. Casior and Herr Zimmermann. Mr Arthur Towsey, as usual, wields the baton. It seems very illadvised from a musical point of view to have fixed this or any local concorb for the same night as the opening concert; of ouch a star as Madame Trebelli, which takes place at the Choral Hal) this evening. We can hardly expscb visits from artifits of world wide reputation if they are to be treated in this way, and we hope this will bet the l&efe time ceimplainb need bo mado of such inconsiderate action on the pare of any Auckland society.
