At the meeting of the Bonrd of Education to-day the report of tho Comuutteo appointed to consider the position of tho Board in relation to the Auckland Technical School, and to roport on tho bocfc incan« for co-operating with and a r-?ißling tho school in their work of technical instruction, v/aa road. Tho Committee reportod that they were of opinion that to take over the maintenance of tha school would entail ;i churgo upon the Board's funds of an ansnnnb approximating £500 a yoar after croditin<; the income derivable from foen and fr na Goverumont capitsvtion. Whi'o they vqcois-

In answer to Mr Woodward, the Chairman eaid tho report meant, that tho na'.ior wuh "sliolved" until they got v [;r?,nt from tho Government.
