Witny will address an open air mooting of Parnell electors at the Victoria Avenue, Eden Torrace, a& 8 o'clock tonight, and at the Newmarket (irebeil ab 9. The Rev. G. H. Mann and Mr 11. French will also speak. Mr W. Crowther addressed a meeting of city electors ab Sb. James' Hall, Wellington street, last evening. The attendance was fair. Mr Crowther criticised several of tho Government measures, including the Juvenile Depravity Bill, the Advaocea to Sottlers Act, and the banking legislation. He aiao touched on prohibition and other matters, and answered a larga number of question?. Ab the close, a hearty voto of buank3 and confidence wag carried unanimously. Mr W. F. Buckland gave an address ab the Reinuera Hall last evening. Ho wna given a vote of thanks and couu'ilenee. Air J. G. Baasett prnaided. Sir G. M. O'Rorka addressed tho Manukau electors a!) the Newmarkeb Hall lasb night. Ho was accorded a voto of thanks and confidence.

Mr Samual Vaile last nighfe gave an address ab Waite'a Hall, Mount Eden. The Rev. B. L. Thomas presided. At the close he was accorded a vote of thanks. There aro 2,363 more women than men raters on the Dunedin roll. Mr F. Lawry addressed large meetings of fche Parneil electors in the Victoria Hall, Eden Terrace, yesterday afternoon and evening. Ab tho afternoon meeting of ladies he received a vote of thanks, and in the evening ho was accorded a vote of thanks, and' tho meeting pledged itself to do all possible to secure Mr Lawry's return. Mra Coyle presided in the afternoon, aad llr Harrison ia tho evening.

Mr Jackson Calmer addressed a meeting of Eden electors lasb evening ab the Edendale Presbyterian Schoolroom, Mr Warren being in the chair. Ab the clcae of hia speech Mr Palmer received a unaaimous vote wf thanks and confidence. Yesterday afternoon Mr Palmer addressed a largely ettoaded meeting of ladiea in the Devonports Hall. Mrs Peacock presiding. Tho ladiea accorded Mr Palmer o vobo of thanks and confidence ab the conclusion of his address, and a cocaraittee of fifteen was formed to advance hJB eaadidaturo.

Our Kuaotunu correspondent writea :— " The election which takes place on Friday next is cauaiug but little excitemenb. Mrs Millar, a lady life and fire insurance agent, formed a ladies' committee to Bupporb Mr MeGowan. A meeting wsa held on the 27th alt., and it wae addressed ab great length by this lady. Great enthusiasm was shown by those present." Mr Moak addresaed a meeting at Hofceo North on Tuesday. A motion of thanks And confidence, moved by Messrs Robert "Walker and Charlea Gray, v?*a carried unanimously.
