The Helping Hand Mission led tho singing:, and addresses were given by Mr Georga Alciridge and the Roy. W. J. Williams urgh»«- the electors to "strike out the top line " at the elections on Friday next. Miss Grindrod recited during the evening •'Jisafrel'a Appeal to the Women of Now Zealand," from Mr G. M. Heed's story, "'The Angel Isafrel."
The " sickroom cookery " demonstration by Mra Ross at) the Auckland Gas Company premiaaa, Wyndham-streefc, will be given on Thursday next instead, of Friday, R8 previously announced.
