There mi t fair attendance, and Mr Eugster liter receiving an attentive hearing waa iccerded a vote of thanks. MrE. Mibcheleon has been finally asked if he will accept nominabion for a city seat. It it thought very likely bhab he will accede to the request. A decision is expected on Thursday. SirG. M. O'Rorke addressed a meeting tl Manukau elecbors ab Pakuranga Hall lilt night. Mr A. Thompson presided. There was a crowded attendance, including »number of ladies. A unanimous vote of thanks and confidence was proposed by Mr I, Fitzpatrick and seconded by Mr J. Fortune. The motion waa carried unanimously. Os Saturday night, Sir Maurice addressed taeelectors at Easb Tamiki. Mr A. R. Harris, J.P., presided. On the motion of _r Joseph Cargo, a vote of thasks and confidence was carried against an adverse imeodmenb movea by Mr Frost, seconded If Mr P. Crago.
