THE UNION COMPANY'S FLEET.
A cablegram from London announce that the stoamor Hawea, bbc latest addition to the Union Steamship Company's fleet was launched yesterday ab Dumbarton. Tho Hawea has been built by McMillan and Co., and is of 2,000 boos gross register. Her dimensions are: Length 260tb, breadth 36ft, and depth 24ft. She will be employed for cargo work on the New Zealand coasb, and will make occasional trips bo Australia when wanted. She is flush decked, will carry a full cargo of 2,500 tons, and will Bteam aboub 11 knots when loaded.
