Drunkenness. — Walter. Harkins, John Clarke and Thos. Gough Were punished for. this offence.
Drunk and Disordely. — Johanna Barrett alias Lily Barrett admitted being drunk and disorderly in Mechanics' Bay on Saturday night.—-The caae was adjourned till December 7th.—A young man, named James Launder, charged with being drunk and disorderly in Hpbsen-sbreet on Saturday nighb, was fined 10s and costs.
Overloading a Hansom.—Edward McCahey was fined 5s arid 7s costs for carrying three passengers in a hansom cab.
A Salutary Sentence.—Jaa. Stewart, charged wibh being drunk and disorderly and using obscene language, waa fined 40a or fourteen days on bhe first charge, and got two months' hard labour for using obscene language.
A CttßtsTcntfßCH Visitor. «- Charles Hadfield was charged wibh being drunk in Wellealey-etreet. He was alao charged with stealing a metal jug, value 14s, the property of George E. Rhodes, licensee of the United Service Hotel.--Accused said thab he remembered nothing aboub it. — Adjourned to December 15tb.
Unattended Cab.—Patrick Hickey, for leaving a cab unattended on the, Queenstreeb Wharf, p'esded guilby.—A fine of 10s, and coats £4 9s, waa imposod.
The Half-holiday:—Thomas Barnaby, butcher, of Randolph-street, admitted having sold meat from his cart after one o'clock on Saturday, bub said he did his beat to conform with the acb.—Mr Ferguaon said bhe case had been broughb ab the requost of other butchers.—Mr Northcroft imposed a fine of Is. The costs amounted to £2 3s.
