Evidently the Waitekauri Company has now fairly entered tbe list of regular bullion returners. Two cruihinga have now been made with tbo new battery and the results have both been highly satisfactory. The firsb crushing, completed ab the beginning of October, returned £6,000 for an eight weeks' run. Thia month, however, tbe retura is much better. Daring the past fonr weeks, 1,674 tone of ore were treated for a yield of 5,1660z of bullion, valued ab £5,670. Sinco the Ist of March, 1596, tha date when tha property wag taken over by the English Company^ up till the present time, tne output of bullion from this mine totals about £29,212, of which £11,670 wbb trot, daring the twelve weeks since the increased stamping power has been employed.
