NEWMARKET.

The ordinary meeting of the Newmarket Borough Council was hold last evening, Mr J. to. LaXon (Mayor) presiding. Mr Hogg, Town Clerk, said it was his pleasant duty as Returning Officer to report the reelection unopposed of Mr Luxon as Mayor. The Council appointed Mr Laxon the Council's representative to vote at the forthcoming Charitable Aid Board election.
