THE HON. A. J. CADMAN AT OHINEMURI.

The Hon. Mr Cadman adrirewed the Ohinemuri electors in the Criterion Theatre, Paeroa, on Saturday evening, and wa. accorded an enthusiastic reception. The largo hall was packed, amongst the audience being a number ot ladies Mr C. F, Mitchell occupied the chair, and on -he platform were Messrs Mc Andrew, Nicholle, Cockwick, Cassells, and Maguire. The candidate's speech traversed much the same ground as his Thames address, and was frequently applauded. He referred to bhe Paeroa town .hip leasehold, and -stated that the Government had made an offer to the owners of £1,890, bub this waa refused. He hoped a solution of the difficulty would shortly be arrived at, as the present posi tion retarded the progress of the Paeroa township. At the close of hia address a vote of thanks and confidence was proposed by Mr Mc And raw, seconded by Mr Caserell, and carried by acclamation.
