Fish Manure (' Manure'). — Overplus fish, niako a splendid manure. You can dig them into the ground fresh as they are obtained. placing them a little distance apart, as the digging proceeds; this is me best and le.ist oift-naive method of using them. The next best method is to make a heap, coyer with alternate layers of soil and fish. This should lie ir. the heap for at least six.months or more, when it can be used. There will be a strong unpleasant smell for a few days.
