Parliament prorogued by proclamation to-day. The Factories and Shop Hours Bill, Land T»s Assessment BiU, Coloured Races Bill, Restriction of Mining Laws Amendment Bill, and Navigation Amendnteut) Bill passed both Houses'. In the Council, the Attorney-General promised the establishment of a land tax Courb of Appeal immediately they wenfc into r«ceßa.
