LAWN TERMS.
On Saturday laeb upwards of 60 members and friends assembled at bhe opening meebing of bhe Mounb Albert Lawn Tennis Club. The Working Committee is to be congratulated upon the fine condition of tliß lawns and grounds, which show that a considerable amount of labour and time have been expended during the off season. The annual report showed that the Club was in a good position financially. Twenty new members were proposed for membership, which of itself show the popularity of the Club. The officers elected for bhe season were: President, Mr J. T. Garlick; Vice Presidents, Messrs Geo. Fowlds, F. D. Woodroffe nnd M. McLean; Committee, Me-damea Sellars and Woodroffe, Messrs P. Daw.on. A. T. Garlick and 11. Harbutt; Auditor, Mr P. Dawson ; Delegate., Messrs P. Dawson and S. J. Harbutt: Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Syd. J. Harbutt. A vote of thanks to tho President for his interest and hospitality to the Ciub bro.ght a most enjoyable meeting to a close.
