AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.

At the monthly meeting of the Commib. tee of tbe Auckland Racing Club held yesterday afternoon, twenty>two new members were elocted. The following programmes were passed : — Avondalo Jockey Club Spring : October 3, 10 ; Autumn : March 17, 20. Gisborne Racing Club : December 26 and January (date to be fixed), 1897; Te Karaka (no totalieator meeting): Deoember 26. Ib was resolved bo raiae the bookmaker's license fe ; e to £50, and visiting pencillers be required ,to pay £7 7s per day. It was resolved to work bobh the inside arid outside tobalieabors together in future, and one dividend therefore be paid. The jockey, W. ABhdown, applied.for a license to ride, bub ib was decided to refuse the same. The tender of Messrs T. C. Beale and Co. to acb as the club auctioneers was accepted, and Mr Thomas Mcßwin, of the City Buffet, obtained the right bo cater ab the Club's meetings.
