CHAMBER OF MINES. We notice that with thi3 week's issue of the " Graphic " there is presented a large picboriiil supplement containing the photos of the members of the Council of the Chamber of Minos. The plate, which ia a fine photogravure, is suitable for framing, and would make a handsome and interesting picture. Everyone concerned in the mines should secure a copy of the engraving while it iB to be had. No doubb the time will come when thia tirab council of the chamber will hare a historic interest. When Auckland—thanks to her goldmines —ia a city four times as large as it now is, and the Chamber of Mines numbers ica members by thousands, it, will bo something to have a memorial of the men who took on active part in the development of our mineral resources.
