■ Sydney, this day. At a special meeting of the A.M.P. Society to, consider the report of the Committee appointed at the lasi annual meeting to make a certain amendment of the bye-la we, the Chairman stated thab the amendmeaks submitted to the meeting were unanimously ngrsed to by the Committee, after consultation with representatives of each of the local boards threughoub the colonies. Included in the amendments as first submitted by the Committee was a | proposal to enable the Society to establish and maintain business in London, but, as itiwaa nob arrived at unanimously, the Board thought ib better nob to submit ife to .members. He might tell the meeting;, on behalf of the Board, that if ever such a proposal'was submitted it would be in such a way thab nothing would interfere with members in giving a clear vote with regard to that matter, alone. The amendments, with two exceptions, where & majority was in favour of them, but a ballot was demanded, were carried unanimously.
