Karaka Queen.—The drive along bhe main reef in bhe surface level has been extended fifbeen feeb. The reef varies from eighteen inches to two feeb, showing colours and dabs of gold freely ab every breakingdown. Seven pounds of fair picked sbone were obbained ab bhis level. At bhe intermediate level the reef averages from two feeb to bhree feeb. It is composed of splendid looking brownish quartz, and is encased by an excellent class of sandstone, inberlaced wibb brighb mineral eeama. Wben breaking down bhe lode oa Monday ab thia level strong colours of the precious metal were seen.-
