Afc a meeting of the Newfeon Pigeon Homing Club last night a letter was read from His Excellency the Governor awarding his patronage to the Club, and commending the Club for their efforts to foster the breeding of these wonderful and useful pigeons. The latter was accompanied by a cheque for an amount. Letters of commendation accompanied by handsome donations were also received from Mr J. J. Holland (Mayor of Auckland), Mr <L J. Crate and others.
