MINING DISTRICTS.

IMPORTANT ARRANGEMENT.

(BY TKUCGKArH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.)

Paeroa, this day.

Ib has been decided bo divide the mining districb afc present presided over by Mr IT. Eyre Kenny, by cutting off the Paeroa and Te Aroha offices, and reserving Thames, Kuaotunu, Coromandel and Morcury Bay. This has been deemed necessary owing to the tremendous increase in business being tance from each other; Mr Biiehwiii take charge of Paeroci and To Aroha from the Ist of nexb month, a^nd I understand; is is contemplated opening a Warden's efflce at Waihi. Owing to the spread of mining operations to Katikati and To Fuke, there is little doubt that tbis will require to be dona Ghorbly, as every day Waihi is becoming more of a centre, instead of as before the boundary of the mining district.
