The House of Commons rose afa 8 a.m., the Government; haying forced the Agricultural Rating Bill through: There were many scenes during the debate, Sir W.. V. Hurcourt taking a leading part in them.
Sir M. Hicks Beach, Chancellor of kho Exchequer, .in moving that the Bill pa*s, said the Government would deal a blow at the factious opposition, whose frivolous amendments had reduced business iv Cue Bouse to a farce.
