(Before Mr H. W. Northcroft, S.M.) Drunk and Disorderly.—Charles J. Curran admitted being drunk and disorderly in Queen-streeb last night. He was faned 10s or in default 14 days' imprisonment. Alleged Forgery. - Henry nlia* H White, was remanded to 18bh inst. onactrge of having forged a cheque for £10 10a sd, purporting to be signed by Albert Crowther, and uttering the same to H-rrv Levy. There was a second charge f«ainss accused thab he did forge a cheque for -the sum of £10 10s. purporting te be Signed by J. Hawkes. and did utter same to A R. Morrison. . Alleged Breach of Licensing Act.-A Pharse againsb James Hunter, licensee of £ 'Beuidr. Hotel, P_n.ll, that he allowed persons to play at billiards in his nremisea after hours on 27th May, was ffiaurned till the 17_u-Mr Cotter apneared for defendant. . Infant Life Protection Act.—Elizabeth Mitchell, an elderly woman, waa cautioned for nob registering the house she occupies under the provisions of the Infant Life Protection Act, 1893. wi.:„Pbohibition Order.-A prohibition order waa granted against Thomas Bradley.
