In the Chamber of Deputies. en dence taken at the trial of Majoi Lothaire for the murder of Stokes, th( British Congo trader, was read, to t_£ effect that Captain D. Hamis was justified in hanging Stokes, and thai Dr. Michaux was also a party to it.
