BRUNNER RELIEF FUND.
A meeting of the Brunner Relief Fund Committee was held this morning. Tho Mayor presided. Mr Holland expained tbab the meeting was called to consider replies received from Wellington and Dunedin relative to the forthcoming conference called by the Premier. The question was, whether the Auckland Committee should fall in with tlio views of the Premier or adhere to the previous arrangement with the Duneiiin Committee of leaving the matter in the hands of the Municipal Conference to meet in July next. After discussion it was resolved to adjourn the mefetins until the Daneclin Committee forwarded the Premier's reply as to leaving the matter in the bauds of the Municipal Conference.
