A report on distilleries show a generally increased output. The stock of spirits on January ist exceeded the stock held on that date in the previous year by 79,000 gallons. Shipments of brandy to the United Kingdom increased by 15,000 gallons. The export to New Zealand increased by 802 gallons. The total export of wine amounted to 318,000 gallons. 13,725,000 gallons had been brewed.
