Ad the Wanganui races yesterday, the sum of £6,137 was put through the machine, making £12,347 tor two days. Results of the concluding events: — Wanganui Stakes.— Saracen, 1; Ngatuero, 2; Fabulist, 3. Also ran : Anita, Mahaki, Hotspur, Tho Possible. Mahaki was lefb at the post. Won by a shorb neck. A protest was entered againsb bho winner for inconsistenb running in the Cup, but the objection was disallowed. Time, 2min 40sec. Dividend, £2 16j.
Nursery Handicap. — Armilla, 1 ; Decoration, 2 ; St. Paul, 3. Also started : Bavaria and Dormouse. Won by two and a*half lengths. Time, 51sec. Dividend, £2 128.
Autumn Handicap.—Acone, 1; Searchlight, 2; St. Laura, 3. Other starters: Kent, Hobspur. Entering the sbraighb Acone was in front, and galloping well was never collared, eventually wianing by & couple of lengths. Time, 2min 1 l-sth sec. Dividend, £3 59.
Second Handicap Hacks.— Carrick, 1 ; Novelty, 2; Dummy* 3. Won by a noee. Time, ltnin 18aec. Dividend, £0 sb.
Farewell Handicap.—Sedgobrook, 1; Swift, 2; Johnny Faa, 3. Bloomsbury was the only other starter. Time, lmin 45 2-sth ccc. Dividend, £3 123.
