In the early parts oi tha gasr.o it looked" as if New Plymouth would iiave an easy win, the score ab the thirteenth head standing— New Plymouth, 16 ; Giaborne, 8. In the sixteenth beuct Gisborne gob four points, and followed this up in the nexb head with five paints. Ab the nineteenth head Gigborne were only one point behind their , opponenlß. In the twentieth and twentyfirst heads New Plymouth got three points in each, the game ending in a win for , New Plymouth by seven poinca.
