Afc an extraordinary meeting of shareholders in this Company, held yesterday, at which Mr T. J. Steelo presided, it was resolved ''That for the purposes of re conatrucbion and amalgamation with the Talisman Extended Gold Wining Company, Limited, this company be wound up voluntarily under tho provisions of the Companies Act, 1882." WOODSTOCK. The tender of Messrs Price Bros, has been accepted tor the erection of buildings, battery and cyanide plant, with concreting and brickwork, for the Woodstock United G.M. Company. Messrs Seager Bros.' tender for water mains was accepted. WAIHI-SILVERTON. The local directoro anticipate that the crushing will commence about the end of the present month. Owing to the immen3e amount of Work in progress ab Price's foundry at the Thames there is delay at getting the necessary machines to the ground. If all reports ore true the crushTug is likely to be a good one. CENTRAL G.M. CO. An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of tho Central G.M. Company was held this morning ab the office of Mr H. Gilfillan, jun,, manager. Mr' William Gorrie presided. The Chairman stated the meeting had been called in connection with proposals i received by the directors for placing the property of the Company on the English market, and the directors were of opinion Che proposals should be accepted. Resolutions were passed authorising the directors to sell the property and to 'execute necessary deeds.
