At the Warden's Court to-dny in the case of the Golden Crown at) Karangahake, there were 6ve objectors, three of whose objections wore allowed for encroachment. One withdrew, and the othor, R. Stackpole's, on bohb.i of the Golden Reef claim, had the application adjourned till next Court day for a settlement. The following applications wore granted : Henry Brett, Union Jack, Karangahake. William Home, Waitekauri West Cross, in the name of John Colbeck, Charles Henry Reid, Karangahake South, special claim. Walter Phillips Martha Extended special claim at Waihi. Edwin Edwards, Bulletin, Karangahake, James William Shaw, Aurifera special claim, Owharoa. Henry Clinton Savage, Lily of Waihi. Edwin Edwards, Goldbeater licensed holding, Karangahake. Clomenb Augustus Cornea, Golconda special claim, Waitekauri, in the name of Robert Charles Greenwood. Charles Burrell Stone, New Zealander, Waitekauri, subject to amendment of plan in accordance with alteration of tho Golconda plnn, and in the name of the New Zoulander G.M. Company. James Barrett, Bullion Licensed Holding, Karangahake. William Home, West Waitekauri Special Claim. Other applications were granted aa follows :—Jonathan Seaver, water race, Mangakino Stream ; Edward Mann Corbeb. water race, Ohinemuri River, Owharoa: Eli/.ah Brokenshire, machino site, Karangahake ; Ellen White, residence site, Karangahake ; Edwin Edwards, water race, Dubbo Creek; Stanley Company, tramway, Karangahake ; John Simms, residence site, Karangahake; Komata Reefs Company, water race, Komata Creek; George Liddlo, residence Bite, Karangahake. Air O'Meaghor, on behalf of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club, drew the attention of the Warden to tho fact thab tho March sitting was fixed for the 17th March, and His Worship decided to hold chat Bitting on the 18th inst. In the case of Salem, applied for by Robert Coropton Spoor, there was no appearance of the applicant, and the application was refused. Three objectors, viz., Harry Collins, tho Golden Spur Goldmining Company, and J. W. Speor had objections allowed with costs. Subsequently Mr Clendon stated thab he appeared for Mr Speer, and the case was broughb up again, with tho result thab the application was adjourned till next Courb day tor amendment of plan. Permission to work was granted as follows :—Mary Jane Niccols, Now Maratoto, 1 man for 2 months ; Ivanhoe Company, Ivanhoe claim, 4 men, 4 months ; Waverloy Company, Waverley claim, 5 men, 4 months. Four applications were granted on behalf of the Waihi Dredging Company to work the four claims forming the Company with one man each for 4 months ; William Home, Unbroken Hill, with 2 men for 3 months. Protection was granted to John Buckland, Burbank claim, for six months; Henry Lomas Smith, lota, for four months ; William Grey Nichollfl, Ohinomuri claim, six months ; John William Thorpe, Dick* son's lead, Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, for six months; Rob Roy Goldmininer Company, two months for the Victory licensed holding, Karangahake Surplus ground wns granted as follow* : —Mr Hartley, Waitekauri West Cross ;L. McNamara, Bullion claim ; Mr Hartley, Weab Waitekauri Cross : Thomas Corbetb, Aurifera ; Lawrence McNamara, Bulletin.
