The Summer Meeting of the Takapnna Jockey Club is being broughb to a conclusion this afternoon. There is a fair attendance. Previous to the starb of tha first race the stewards considered a complaint alleging that Hall, tho rider of Eve, sbruck Fabulist on the head in the Takgpuna Cup. Tho complainb was dismissed, and Hall cautioned. The reaulba of the day's racing are as follows :—

Other starters were : (124) Eeconomy ; 10sb 71b, Wells ; (6) Mount, 9sb 71b and 3lb overweight, Tozer; (29) Black Friar, syrs, 9sb slb, Carey ; (7) Fisherman, 9ab, Weston; (43) Lifebuoy, 9sb and 31b overweight .

Economy wenb away with fcho lead, bub he fell after the first three turlongs, leaving Lifebuoy with bhe lead, and then came Carbuncle. When the grandstand was again reached Carbuncle had command, and holding his own throughout, won by bwo lengths from Ika. Time, 3min 333ec. Black Friar was bhe only other to finish besides the placed horses, the others falling. Dividend, £5 4s. Suburban Handicap, ot4osovß, 5£ furlongs. 105— J. Peerless jumped off in front when the , barrier was released, and was never headed winning by two clear lengths, Doric defeating Miss Nelson a few strides from home for second place by bulf a length. Time, lmin 13sec. Dividend, £4 7a, Second Pony Handicap of 35sovs. Five and a-half furlongs. Kib 1 Mayourneen 2 Valencia ... 3 Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 13aec. Dividend, £8 13s.
