ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Wellington, this day. Harry Dixon, of Maeterton, has been fatally injured by being thrown off a wool waggon through tho horses bolfcinjj. A young man, George Maudesley, an employee of Messrs Sargood and Sous, has been missing since Wednesday, when he vieited some members of his family at Plimmerton. It if foared be has boen drowned while bathing. A boy named Albert Foofce, aged IVO,1 V O, was drowned ab Kilbirnie yesterday. _ He was unable to swim, and was carried by a strong current into deep water. TiMARtJ, this" day. A farmer named Henry Squire was drowned in the Pareora river yesterday afternoon. He was after some cattle when he got into a deep hole, and becoming unseated from his horse, waa drowned.
