WELLINGTON PARK SALE.
It transpires that the filly by Cuirassier from Gmiuet knocked down to Mr G. Dunnett at the Wellington Park sale yesterday, was purchased on bohalf of Mr T. H. Lowry, of Napier. The yearlings bought by Mr J. M'cGuinees, tho Dunodin trainer, were for Mr J. F. Reid, owner of Skirmisher and Hon. G.McLean. The two yearlings purchased by Mr G. G. Stead will no shipped home on Monday, and tho majority of tho others bought by visitors by Tuesday's steamer. SALE OF- RACE HORSES. Several race horses the property of Major George were offered at Hunter and Nolan's yards fco-duv. Neptune was purchased by Mr E. Clark at 35gs, Heart of Oak found a purchase in Soall Bros, ab 25ga, and Pegasus was withdrawn whon the 'bidding reached 85ga. Subsequently he was sold to Jas. Koan, tho well-known trainer, at lOOirs. The two-ye&r-old Admiral Hawke found a buyer in Mr J. Ralph at 40gp. Tho Master was nob offered and Anniversary was passed. The following wore also sold : —Marquis of Tewkesbury, Hgs, Robert Ritchie, Kuaobunu ; bay filly, 2yrs, by Cap-a-pie, 6gs, Soall Bros. ; filly, one year, by Freedom—Good Day, Sga, Adam Kmerilie ; bay mare Good Day, 6£gs, Duncan McNicol. Other lots offered were nob disposed of.
