BOARD OF EDUCATION.
Tjie followine business was transacted at the Auckland Board of Education meeting after we wonb to press yesterday afternoon :—
Other Business,—The motion by Mr Udy re removal of taachor? from one school to another, and that of Mr Woodward, tho Pakuranga school, were deferred for future consideration.—lt was decided that the Board's offices be closed for ten days, dating from December '24bh.
New Schools.—Requests for the erection of schools at Kaikohe and Mokau were do ferred.
