At the annual meeting of the Imperial Institute, the Prince of Wales praised its utility. Lord Herschell h<n the coiomai collection would soon completely represent the natural resouices of the dependencies of the Empire. He claimed ti>r<t the Institute had been mainly instrumental in promoting the use of Australian hard WDod for street paving.
