KAURI GUM REPORT.
Auckland, 4th December, 1895.
The gum market is, if anything, a littl quicker, owing to the completion of loading vessels for New York. What business haa been transacted took place at current rates, no weakness being noticeable except with regard to poor grades. If it was not not for such quantities of poor quality gum being held, prices for higher grades would have been better, ere now. Eaßt Coast is in good demand. Supplies for tho past month are about 513 tons, and for the four days of current month about 65 tons. The average prices, delivered in Auckland, are aa follows :— Poor ordinary £32 to £35 Fair ordinary ... ._ ... £43 to £48 Good ordinary ... ...
