ASSIN'ET PERAMBULATORS. — Elegant, durable, cash or deferred payments. — McLeod Hroa., Perambulator and YVickerwaro Makers, foot of Upder Queen-st, Q A N C ii In view of the disagreeable fact that cancer is largely on the increase throughout the Australasian Colonies, the following letter from the n-i A ,;. lrvino Will > clipped from the Otago Daily iimcs-of August 27th last, should be of public interest:— I. Hopkins & Co., Count Mattci's Agents, Auckland, " Sir.—Reading the letters in the Times re the statistics of death from cancer in New Zealand has impressed upon me the duty of publicly declaring my willingness to tell all cancer patients and their friends how the victims of this dire disease can prolong life and greatly mitigate their sufferings, if not cure them of the disease."Three and a-half years ago tho doctors informed me that I was suffering from cancer, and was in such a state that nothing could bo done for me —opium was to be injected till death released me from Buffering, an event which the doctors told us would happen before tho year was out. When my many friends heard of this, they, wrote begging us to try Count Mattci's remedies. They sent us pamphlets, books, and papers to show us what to do. When I asked my own doctor -if it would be of any use to try the remedies, he answered, "Oh! yes, try them; it's always good to try something.' So faith in the efficacy of the remedies had no influence in their effect upon me. "I procured some of tho remedies, and began their use on Ist May, 1892. It was difficult to understand how to use them, but I persevered using them as well as I knew how until I heard direct from Signor Mattei. Since then I have patiently and persistently used the remedies, and lam still alive to tell the. tale. A stranger from Australia, who had never seen mo before, could not realise on seeing mo lately that I was ill, so healthy-looking have the remedies made me. "It is said, 'Oh! people have tried theso remedies, and found that Count Mattei is a humbug.' Yes, I know some people have tried the remedies, and feeling no miraculous and sudden cure from them, have thrown them up as of no' avail. But that is where they havo erred. With such a disease as cancer or consumption the curing power of any remedy must be slow. Yet there is the case of Mr. Charters of Ury Park, sent home from Dunedin by throe doctors as suffering from malignant cancer, against which their knives could do nothing; in seven nionths, he Was driving about hale ami heart.y_, yet he used nothing to euro him but tho Mattei remedies. Probably I would have been as wcllin the same time had I been able to use, as he did, tho we tcom presses. " No, lam not cured, far from that, for the disease, after having beon nearly conquered in one part of the body, developed in another part; but still tho remedies have combated tho disease, and enabled me to bo alive to this day. Knowing the relief, knowing the blessing the remedies hare been to me, I desire through your widespread paper to let cancer patients not only know of these remedies, but to tell thorn 1 shall be only too glad,, out of gratitude for what they have done for me. to explain to anyone that cares to write to mo how to use the remddics properly. " The remedies, however, cannot bo properly used without persistent patience and perseverance. " I am, yours, Sir, in the interests of suffering humanity, "A. InviXE Will.
