THE ALAMEDA.
Shortly before four o'clock yesterday afternoon the R.M.s. Alameda arrived from Sydney en route to America, after a very smarb passage of aboub 3 days 20 hours. She left the Margareb-streeb Wharf an 5.30 p.m. on Monday last, and for the first thirty hours experienced Btrong north-weet gales and sea, thence moderate north to west winds till rounding the North Cape, and thick rainy weather down the coast to arrival. Shoroly after two this afternoon the Alameda sailed for Apia, Honolulu and San Francisco,
