TURANGA CREEK.

A meeting of local crickoters was hold on Saturday, August Slsb, and the following officers were appointed for the ensuing season :—Prosident, Mr J. Granger, who officiated as Chairman; Vice President, Mr F. Dibble; Captain, Mr H. W. Shaw ; Secretary, Mr I\. R. Martin; Treasurer, Mr J. Wade. Messrs Wado and Martin were appointed delegates to represent the Club at a meeting to bo called to consider the question of forming a union with the surrounding ccountry lubs. It was unanimously decided to change tho name of the Club, and it will now be called the Whitford Park Cricket Club.
