This evening id the Opera House, Professor Davis, the versatile entertainer, willopsn a short eea?on. and as the performance is an exceedingly novel and interesting one.there should be a crowded house. Professor Davis ia well known as a vory clever exponent of the art of making modern ''ghosts," and his exposures of Mrs Alellon's spiritualistic seances and of the "spooks" Cissie, Geordie and Jessie have won fame as the 'cleverest thing of the sorb yet done on an Auckland stage. Professor Davis will also give some of the latest novelties in ventriloquism and mimicry, with some songe. Madame Stella Davie, the celebrated clairvoyant, will also appear, '"hypnotic trance visions" being announced Madam Davis will accurately answer any questions which may be merely thought of by persons in tbe audienco, and will stato the questions, which hitherto havo.beeS known only to persons thinking of them. These remarkable examples of thought-reading will be well worth the price of admission to the entertainment to«i£hb.
