The Bubjecbs of the three lectures which Mr Frederic Villiers will deliver in the Opera House next week, commencing on Wednesday evening, are announced. They compriee the famous war artist's experiences in eight campaigns, beginning with the Servo-Turkish war and ending with the fall of Khartoum. In the first and second lectures Mr Villiers will relate the history of the Chino-Japanese war, of which he was a eye-witness, from the outbreak of hostilities until the capture of Porb Arthur, and all the lectures will be illustrated by illuminated reproduction? of the principal events and incidents of the various campaigns, including some of the moafc thrilling scenes in the massacre of citizens ab Porb Arbhur, of which Mr Villier's snapshob phobographs are tho only ones that were taken. The piansyof seats for the three lectures is now open ab Messrs Wild man and Lyell's.
