"Mr Wackerrow, a Manchester shipper, reports thab he has sold beforehand the whole of the Timaru's cargo aba satisfacfacbory price, which proves the readiness of Manchester to begin direct trade. He desireß the colonies to know this in order to dispel doubts as to the capaciby of the trade.
Other offers will follow,
One steamer with mutton, tallow and butter will leave Australia for Manchester in November.
