The Engliah wheat market is steady, the Continent -ia firm, and the American declining.
At the tallow Bales 800 casks were offered, of which 600 were sold. Medium mutton brought 21s 6d ; medium beef, 20s 3d.
Aba sale of aheepskicß 3,778 were offered, of which 3,616 were sold. The market showed a general advance of to §d, while good short wools sometimes brought -^d dearer.
Australian butter is quoted ab 85s to 90s.
A portion of the cattle by the Echuca brought tyd per lb.
