The farmera here having decided to work their dairy on tho co-operatiye principle, Mr Johnson haa been engaged aa manager. Tho boiler and machinery arrived by the last sbeamer. and the buildingß are completed. All will be ready for a good Btarb in cheeeemauing by bhe end of nexb month.
A heavy fall of snow took place at Mahurangi oh the 30th of July.
Te Aroha fruitgrowers have eenb a telegram to the Hon. Mr Cadman, urging him to oppose the clause in tho proposed treaty with South Australia relating to the free importation of fruit from bhab colony.
