The 8.8. Gairloch le,fb the New Plymouth breakwater at lO.lOiast night and arrived at the wharf at~ noon to-day. The principal items in her , cargo were—6o cattle, 93 boxes butter an^;^9, sacks gjrass'seed.
The- sis. Mah'inapua arrived from the Soubli at*eleven thi3 morning. Mr J. Low, the purser, reports that the steamer lefo Wellington on tbe 28th, "and having: called as usual at Nelson and New Plymouth, arrived as above. As far as Taranaki she met with fine weather, thence strong S. W. winds to arrival. . ' .
