Thero waa a large attendance ab bhe City Hall on Saturday evening, when Miss Amy Vaughan and her company gdye a final performance of the amusing burlesque, "La Sonnambula." The new songs, new sketches and new dreaßes in bhe piece all added to the generol success, and the more popular aongs' and , ballade were encored enthuaiaatically. The company scored high success in bho favourite songs, " Como Back Soon," " Espaniba," "While the Dance Goes On," and others, and the many comic situations in the burlesque wero boab entertaining. "The Haunted Swing," bhe labesb American illusion, which haa attracted so much attention in Christchurch and Dunedin during the laat few monbhs, is advertised for sale in another part of bhia-iasue, on accounb of bhe owner being unable bo travel.
