LIVE CATTLE TRADE.
London, June 9,
Sir W. B. Perceval, Agent-General for New Zealand, haa asked the Board of Agriculture to permib New Zealand vessels to touch at coaling ports without the Board insisting on the immediate slaughter of live stock on arrival in England. In reply, the president of the Board stated he would require proof thab New Zealand wa3 free of disease.
